the former people from the famous sonnentravel are running this scam office.
especialy german people are aproched with the famous ´´scratch cards ´´
a austrian girl is waiting for the victims when they arrive with the taxi at this
centre.
WATCH OUT!!
They only want to get up to 2.000 euro from your credit card for a holiday
club membership !!
they disguise as a internet travel agency but they are just a bunch of criminals
who go for the ´´easy ´´ money.

This is the ´´ boiler room ´´ where they will try to take up to 2000 euro from your creditcard
as a downpayment for a ´´ trial ´´ period of a holiday club membership of 36 or 35 months.
remember that if you are stupid enough to sign a contract, the contract also needs to have
the proper papers to cancel the contract within 14 days after signing the contract without
giving a reason for the cancelation.
BUT!! NEVER!! perform a downpayment because you have 14 days to think about the
contract. ( Would you do the same at home?? ) dont´t think so !!

Prohibition of Advanced Payments

In relation to the products covered by the Directive, the trader is prohibited from demanding or accepting an advance payment from the consumer before the expiration of the withdrawal period. This prohibition also extends to the provision of guarantees, reservation of money on accounts, explicit acknowledgement of debt and payment of any other consideration to the trader or to any third party.

Cancelation Rights

The consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract (or, if the contract is provided at a later date, from the day when the consumer receives the contract). The consumer must notify the trader in writing of his or her decision to withdraw. Any ancillary contracts will be automatically terminated on withdrawal.

Should certain information detailed in the Directive is missing, the period is extended a further three months. Moreover, if a separate standard withdrawal form is not filled in by the trader and provided to the consumer in writing, the period in extended to year.

Pas op beste vakantiegangers, de verkopers van vakantie-clubs en timeshare-locaties zijn hun messen aan het slijpen om u tijdens uw vakantie op slinkse wijze geld afhandig te maken.

De Nederlandse en Duitse verkoop- c.q. 'oplichtings'-fronten worden op oorlogsterkte gebracht, zodanig, dat u op nagenoeg geen enkele manier kunt ontsnappen aan deze ‘kakkerlakken’ op Gran Canaria. Dit ‘ellendige volk’ is gelijk aan de bekende cucaracha (kakkerlak) die bijna tegen elk bestrijdingsmiddel is opgewassen en nagenoeg niet uit te roeien.
Het enige middel wat uitstekend werkt is media-aandacht en uw vastberadenheid, om GEEN contact aan te gaan met dit ‘ongedierte’ op straat wat u door middel van een kraslot (deze truc is al zo oud als de weg naar Kralingen!) een hoofdprijs belooft.

Media-aandacht zullen ze genoeg krijgen op het moment, dat de juiste media dit nare verschijnsel oppakken en er nog meer aandacht aan gaan besteden.

Hoe meer mensen weten, dat dit ‘ongedierte’ bestaat, hoe beter dit is.

Heeft u zich toch tegen uw wil in later verleiden en een contract getekend, laat dan zo snel mogelijk uw bank het aanbetaalde bedrag storneren en ga naar een advocaat.

Per slot van rekening zijn lokale bedrijven op Gran Canaria de dupe van de kwalijke praktijken van dit ‘ongedierte’, omdat slachtoffers, die men een contract in hun maag heeft gesplitst, NOOIT meer zullen terugkeren naar dit eiland en daarom hun geld hier niet meer zullen uitgeven.

De bazen -de ‘opper-cucas’ - vullen hun zakken en zullen te zijner tijd met de noorderzon vertrokken zijn en op het moment, dat de rechtbank een uitspraak doet ten gunste van het slachtoffer, bestaat het bedrijf al lang niet meer.

Deze praktijken zijn in de rest van Europa ondenkbaar. Echter door het traag werkende justitiële apparaat in Spanje, dacht men hier een maas in de wet gevonden te hebben, om vakantiegangers op slinkse wijze hun zuur verdiende geld afhandig te maken, maar dit is met recente EU- regelgeving niet langer mogelijk en men blijft, ook na verkoop van het bedrijf, aansprakelijk.

Maar, hoe dan ook, vermijdt enig contact op met loslopende jongeren die u op straat ‘gratis’ iets aanbieden.

Het enige wat op Gran Canaria gratis is, zijn de zon en de vriendelijkheid van de lokale bevolking.
